ABOUT US
A Family Legacy of Craft
For 39 years, the DiMeglio family has shaped landscapes of enduring beauty across central New Jersey — guided by a simple belief that the outdoor spaces we inhabit should be as thoughtfully crafted as the homes within them.
Our Story
Caliper Farms was founded in 1987 by brothers Vinny and Angelo DiMeglio, who shared a vision of creating a landscape company that operated at the intersection of art and horticulture. From the beginning, they understood that truly exceptional landscapes require more than technical skill — they require a deep understanding of place, an eye for composition, and the patience to let a vision unfold over time.
What began as a small operation has grown into one of central New Jersey’s most respected landscape firms, known for our meticulous craftsmanship, our private nursery, and our unwavering commitment to client relationships that span decades.
Today, Caliper Farms continues to be family-owned and operated. We have never pursued growth for its own sake. Instead, we have focused on deepening our expertise, expanding our nursery, and ensuring that every project receives the personal attention it deserves.
Our clients are not customers — they are partners in a shared endeavor to create something beautiful and lasting. Many have been with us for over twenty years, entrusting us with the ongoing care of landscapes we designed and built together.
What Guides Us
Craftsmanship
Every detail is placed with intention. From stone selection to plant spacing, we design for structural integrity and lasting visual harmony.
Respect for Place
Every property has a character. We listen to the land — its topography, its existing trees, its relationship to the architecture — and design in harmony with what is already there.
Horticultural Knowledge
Our team brings decades of plant science expertise. We understand soil, light, water, and the complex ecology of a designed landscape.
Enduring Relationships
We measure our success not in projects completed, but in relationships sustained. Many of our clients have been with us for over two decades.
Serving Central New Jersey
From our nursery in Belle Mead, we serve discerning homeowners throughout the greater Princeton area and surrounding communities, including Skillman, Montgomery, Hopewell, Pennington, Lawrenceville, and beyond.
